Building Rennovation

An edifice is the compilation of bricks and mortar; a community the product of
dedication, foresight, and hard work. We at Shaare Ezra are blessed to have a building
in which to gather for tefilah, torah learning, and communal celebrations. Everyone who
enters, either as a member or guest, will be reminded of our history, commitment, and
continued diligence when viewing our latest projects – the Eshet Hayil Wall, the Tree of
Life, the Chesed Wall, Building Partners wall, and Founders Wall. We will adorn our
building while recognizing those who have made our existence possible. We urge you
to find the dedication opportuinty that most suits your need and continue to support the
future growth of our kahal.

Eshet Hayil Wall

A woman of valor, who can find? Our community is blessed to find a woman of valor in
every one of our homes who selflessly nurtures her family with devotion and love.
Honor the women of your family with a plaque on our Eshet hayil Wall

Tree of Life

The Torah is likened to a Tree of Life, a symbol of infinite knowledge and spiritual
wisdom, for those who hold it near and dear. The scholars and students, who over the
generations have supported and upheld the Torah are blessed. Every leaf on our tree
of life reflects the brilliance and vibrancy of our congregation. Add a leaf to memorialize
your loved one while supporting Torah and Tefillah.

Chesed Wall

Gemilut chasadim, generally translated as “acts of loving kindness,” is known as one of
the three pillars upon which the world stands (Avot 1:2) and is an act that is considered
“boundless”, meaning that a person can never do too much of it. Honor a loved one
and support our continued growth.

Building Partner

In Shemot 25:8 Hashem instructs Moshe:  Ve asu li mikdash veshachanti betocham.
“And they shall build for me a sanctuary and I shall dwell among them”.  Just as it was
incumbent upon Bnei Israel to donate their silver and gold in order to support the
Mishkan, so too is it incumbent upon us to adorn and refurbish our mikdash me’ at. Be a
partner in supporting our building and ensure that our community has a mikdash me’at
in which the Shechinah may dwell.

Founders Wall

This wall commemorates those visionaries, who with foresight anticipated the growth of
our community, and with steadfast commitment founded Congregation Shaare Ezra. In
keeping with the mitzva of hakarat hatov, expressiong gratitude for good done for us,

we dedicate this wall in recognition of their endeavors. Contact (?) for dedication
opportunities.
